Got tired of my exhaust dragging on the ground so I put an OEM unit on my car to replace the kludge I made with a resonator and muffler kindly donated by JayhawkJake. It sounds... similar. Honestly it's a lot more ricey sounding than the Sonic RS exhaust was. Honda just kinda sucked dick at exhaust before ~2005 or so.
Here's the stock unit, two pieces, freshly dropped from my parts car (99 USDM Civic LX that has been beat to hell and back)
Aftermarket header/downpipe was a different diameter than the exhaust. I cut a 3/4" long bit of pipe and sandwiched it between the exhaust pipe and the header, then clamped it together with some random bolts. The pipe fit perfectly over the header's flange, and pressed perfectly into the gasket ring of the exhaust pipe. I'm pleased.

Tornado sirens were going off. We gave no fucks and continued working
My ground clearance is much better, the car is quiet, no leaks, and it looks pretty damn stock. I'm going to use the wheels as a test for various black spray paints, paint the wheels back to black, and paint the roof and trunk lid (again) to make the awful faded clearcoat less noticeable. Next wednesday I will be doing a full drivetrain swap with my parts car (50k+ fewer miles, has far more power due to being in better condition) and that Saturday my new struts/shocks will hopefully go on. Happenings!
